Halloween to Christmast?

"I can't resist those Reese's pumpkins!" GEEZ LEWIS ! When did the pages of the calendar turn and we popped into Halloween? It hit me today at the grocery store when I saw those Reese's pumpkins strategically placed at the check out counter. Regretfully I put two on the belt..regretful because I ate one in the car and one as a reward after I put my groceries away.. I needed a reward after all.. 

There were 2 bags? I MUST stay away from them .. you know I love them but they don't love me! I am not going to tell you why, if I do it's gonna be TMI ! But is any of SKBers here addicted to them like me? 

And is anyone else kinda blown away that we have moved right into Christmas? In United States, It used to be Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas, but nowadays retailers are putting Christmas trees next to bags of Halloween candy ?! Does anyone else think it is too early?

One time  I did decorate for Halloween at my house years a go. By decoration, I mean putting the store-bought carved pumpkin with my (belated) black cat 'Purrzy' sitting next to it every now and then! 

I know I must really disappoint my neighbors for never going all out decorating my yard. Most houses in my neighborhood goes crazy decorating. There are some elaborate get ups where ghosts are flying through trees.. orange lights are put on shrubs.. grave yard pops out of grass. The first year that I lived here, it kinda threw me as I have never seen so many adults go all out for "Trick & Treaters" but my neighborhood does! 

Truth to be told, I haven't ever been into Halloween .. it created stress in my life ! Though I was once attended the Halloween party invitation, I stressed out over costumes .. that ideation in me wanted me to come up with an idea for the perfect costume, I never did! 

One time I stressed over pumpkins, I've never carved pumpkin in my life! Never had enough time! 

I stressed over "trick & treaters" .. Do I put the bowl of candy out side? or inside? Do I hand the candy or let them take it out of the bowl themselves? Do I stop giving out candies after 9.00 pm ? OH DEAR, OH MY .. 

Halloween last year was different. Pandemic really did change everything. I did not see Halloween decorations anywhere in the area where I lived. No trick & treaters on the road either. 

This year, I see some houses decorate their yard again. Trick & Treaters?  We shall see tommorrow, I guess. One thing for sure, I have variety of chocolates and candy waiting for them.

Any of you here like Halloween? Can you believe Christmas tree are out already? Can you resist that  Reese's  Pumpkin Chocolates at the check out counter ? If you can't .. JOIN THE CLUB ! LOL ...
